2013 Santa & D'Sas Pinot Noir

Santa & D'Sas is a new collaboration between 2 old friends Andrew Santarossa and Matthew Di Sciascio who met each other while studying their Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science).
Semi translucent bright dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose displays good aromatics with scents of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise, a hint of meatiness and spicy cedar. Generous supplely textured flavours of ripe dark cherries, plums and strawberries slide across the palate with some underlying meatiness and spicy cedar. Very good power wave. Soft velvety tannins finishing with a long dark cherry, plum, subtle meatiness and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
