2013 Mount Macleod Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries and dark plum are interlaced with some anise and violet overtones followed by light spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium weight the palate has succulent flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plum but lacks complexity and depth. Nuances of light earth and spicy cedar follow. Soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, light earth and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
