Opaque dark red black colour with a very dark red hue. The nose has aromas of stewed plum and mulberries with underlying spicy cedar notes. Medium weight the palate has flavours of stewed fruits and mulberries over some cedar and mint with a spicy dry finish. Fine grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of stewed fruits, mint and spicy cedar. Lacks varietal character.
