2013 Giaconda Estate Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple hue. Offering up scents of black cherries, liquorice, dried meats, scorched earth and blackpepper the nose is not quite as pronounced as the Warner Shiraz. Medium weight with good richness and a refined textural feel the palate possesses flavours of black cherries and liquorice alongside some dried meat characters with a smoky overlay and blackpepper on the back palate. Velvet smooth perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, peppered dried meats and smoky cedar.
