Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries are intermixed with some tobacco leaf followed by herbaceous green asparagus like characters. Medium weight and elegant the palate is quite leafy with flavours of dark cherries, tobacco leaf, some herbaceous characters and spice. Very dry finish with chalky tannins giving the wine a hard edge. Aftertaste of tobacco leaf, herbaceous characters and spice. A lean green Cabernet.
