Tasting note: Brassy gold. Packed and expressive with scents of cornflake honey crackles, golden syrup and thick vanilla amid the vapoury spirit. Second pass dries the bouquet offering hints of banana fritter, marmalade and damar varnish. Rich and creamy entry; more biitersweet as the alcoholic attack strikes mid palate. Super intense cocoa, vanilla, then bitter toffee and banana cake enter as the tongue nipping spices retreat. Surprisingly controlled for all the spirit here. Long and delicious.
