Alaskan Rock Vodka (750ml)

New South Wales, AUSTRALIA
$64. 99
Bottle
$779.88 Dozen
ABV: 40%
A new Australian small batch vodka (only 2800 bottles in batch one) crafted for the company by the folks at Lark Distillery in Tasmania using malted barley. Many vodkas are made using wheat, rye, corn, potato or even plain sugar. The proprietors of Alaskan Rock have a preference for barley because it delivers the neutral spirit flavour that vodka drinkers expect but also offers a soft texture and a hint of malt. Distilling is done twice in copper pot stills. Bottling is done by hand.

Tasting notes: Clear. Subdued aromatics include hints of meringue and vanilla followed by sweeter icing sugar-like notes. Creamy textured, semi sweet profile showcases the malt with a controlled, spicy undercurrent. Meringue and citrus oils at the finish. Concludes clean, dryish and mildly peppery. 40% Alc./Vol.
