2014 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Pungent aromas of herbaceous gooseberries intermix with a hint of passionfruit overlaid by some grassy characters, asparagus and a faint whiff of capsicum as an end note. Ripe gooseberries intermingle with traces of passionfruit on the front palate immediately followed by herbaceous grassy characters, citrus, asparagus and light capsicum. Crisp refreshing acidity with a long aftertaste of herbaceous grassy gooseberry, a touch of passionfruit, asparagus and subtle capsicum.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
