Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose displays fragrant aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some subtle anise and spice. The palate delivers richness and power with generous flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum and strawberries underpinned by some spicy cedar. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and light spicy cedar. Good Pinot with real varietal character at this price point is virtually unheard of so this is a genuine surprise!
