2013 Yarra Peaks Pinot Noir

Semi translucent, slightly cloudy dark crimson red colour with a hazy crimson hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with scents of violets and ripe dark cherries intermixed with strawberry and anise over subtle cedar end notes. The palate is light but flooded with flavour delivering an excellent power wave. Generous supplely textured rich ripe cherries and raspberries are followed by some strawberry with underlying delicate cedar and anise. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe cherries, raspberries, strawberry, subtle spicy anise and cedar.
Drink this delicious Pinot over the next 4-5 years.
