$125. 00
Bottle
$1500.00 Dozen
Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2019-2020)
ABV: 12.5%

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with scents of ripe pear, cashew and biscuit all intermixed together with wet stone and light dried honey end notes. The palate possesses notably more richness and texture than the entry level Chablis of Patrick Piuze delivering flavours of pear, citrus, cashew and light toast over a background of liquefied crushed rock and mineral. Full round mouthfeel that almost imparts a sense of creaminess. Clean dry finish. Excellent depth with a very long aftertaste of pear, cashew, light toast and wet stone.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc 12.5%

Other Reviews….
The 2012 Chablis Blanchots is all about texture. A rich, broad wine, the 2012 wraps around the palate with enveloping, layered fruit. Smoke, dried pear and spice notes fill out the wine's broad shouldered frame nicely. The 2012 manages to be both big and nuanced. I imagine the wine's resonant, inviting personality will be pretty hard to resist from the get-go. Drink 2016+
