2012 Five Geese Jon's Block Reserve Shiraz

Opaque inky black crimson colour with a dark crimson red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark chocolate bound from the glass followed by some toasty oak, vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium to full bodied with a supple round mouthfeel the palate features a rich flavour profile of liquorice and dark chocolate underpinned by some toasty vanillin oak with confectionary and spice following. Velvet smooth tannins. Long blackberry, liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
