2011 Dandelion Vineyards Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz

Matured in predominately older French oak for 18 months. Totally opaque inky black purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays an aromatic profile of ripe blackberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary and subtle toasty oak. Full bodied ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours dominate the palate over some confectionary, subtle toasty oak and blackpepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with long liquorice, blackberry, subtle toasty oak and blackpepper aftertaste.
