2010 Tim McNeil Wines Clare Valley Shiraz

Tim McNeil’s Clare Valley Shiraz has undergone maturation in French oak hogsheads (20% new) for a period of 24 months. Super saturated inky black colour with very deep black dark purple hue. Perfumed aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and dark plum followed by some confectionary end notes. Richly textured the palate delivers generous flavours of dark plum, blackberry and liquorice followed by some spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and vanillin cedary spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
