2010 Salomon Estate Syrah Viognier

A blend of 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier. Totally opaque inky black colour with a very dark crimson red black hue. Aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums fill the nostrils followed by some dark chocolate, smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied with a dense voluptuous texture the palate is flooded with rich ripe flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark plums over some smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Beautifully integrated round supple tannins finishing with a long aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, smoky vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
