2010 Chateau Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa Ebenezer Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in a combination of new and seasoned American and French oak. Totally opaque inky black colour with deep dark purple red black tinged hue. The nose reveals a perfumed and layered aromatic profile of liquorice, dark chocolates and blackberry followed by some vanillin oak and mocha. Full bodied but far from over weight the palate almost has a sense of refinement about its mouthfeel delivering a rich flavour profile of liquorice and ripe blackberries followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with long ripe blackberry, vanillin confectionary and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
