Occasionally we open a wine to discover unexpected richness, texture and complexity that only come with patience and bottle development. This is one such example – proper, full bodied, balanced Chardonnay, at its peak in time for roast chicken, turkey or, for the adventurous, try with lamb (you'll be surprised).

Bright deep straw colour with a tinge of pale gold around the edges and pale straw hue. The nose opens with ripe peach and dried honey top notes followed by some citrus, almonds and toastiness. The palate has really filled out showing plenty of weight and a broad textural creaminess with mouthfilling flavours of honeyed ripe peach over some toastiness, dried almonds and spice. Clean dry finish. Excellent length with long peach, dried honey, roasted almond and spice aftertaste. Fully matured this Chardonnay needs to be drunk over the next 12 months.
