This wine is a touch drier than examples of this variety from past vintages. Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of spice, liquorice and blood plum, followed by a hint of new leather as an endnote. The palate is quite dry, with flavours of leather, earth and plum emerging, over a spicy background. Fine, dry tannins. Aftertaste of plum, leather, liquorice, earth and stewed fruit.

Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Lifted nose, with a aroma of raspberry, strawberry and spice, followed by a hint of confectionary, violets and just a touch of new leather. The palate reveals flavours of confectionary followed by a hint of cherry and liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, cherry, liquorice and raspberry. Excellent balance.
