Tasting note: Water like, except for the bright silvery blush. Perfect clarity. A fascinating opening sniff detects nail varnish, plastic, sump oil and burnt rubber - this could only be mezcal. Returning several minutes later finds bitumen and modelling glue added to the medley. Surprises from the entry which is glycerous, exceptionally soft and accessible, following through into a round, creamy-yet-dry mid palate of burnt vegetable, nail varnish and peppercorn; delicately bitter finish concluding bone dry, salty, satisfyingly warm and with the industrial notes persisting with excellent length. 40.5% Alc./Vol.
