Pronounced aromas of ripe peach, tropical fruits and ripe melon leap from the glass followed by a hint of citrus. Vibrant and fresh the palate is flavour packed with ripe peach, tropical fruit and melon fruit followed by a spicy finish. Clean and dry with a very appealing textural feel. A Chardonnay of superb fruit purity that finishes long with an aftertaste of ripe peaches, tropical fruit and spice.

Rich and creamy, the toasty oak in this release is a little more prominent than past vintages. Luscious peach and apricot fruits meld into notions of crème brulee, nougat and spicy bacon fat characters. Warm and toasty with excellent concentration, it shows ample length and finishes rich and buttery.

Rising out of the glass with plenty of intensity are peach and ripe apricot scents followed by subtle notions of honeycomb, crème brulee and spicy butterscotch. Delivering it’s trademark generous mouth full of flavour rich peach and apricot fruits overlay light honeycomb, crème brulee, subtle butterscotch and spice characters. Full, creamy like texture. Displaying excellent depth it finishes long and luscious with nicely balanced acidity. Fatty B is bang on the money yet again.

Intense ripe peach and apricot scents intermeshed with honeycomb are followed by some light butterscotch and citrusy nougat. Rich, viscous, almost buttery like mouthfeel with ripe peach and apricot flavours to the fore sitting alongside some honeycomb infusions, cashew and citrusy nougat. Quite fresh and lively on the finish with a medium to long aftertaste of ripe peaches, apricot, honeycomb, citrusy nougat and spicy butterscotch. Give it a few years to fatten up a bit more.
