A limited edition travel-retail exclusive created in celebration of the Chinese Year of the Horse (2013). Like other White Horse editions, the core of this creamy, sweet and robust blend is Lagavulin. 1890 is an important date in the heritage of White Horse. It was the year that the whisky was first introduced to the world by Peter Mackie. White Horse itself takes its name from the White Horse Cellar Inn in Edinburgh, near where the Mackie family lived. According to the bottlers expect: “Crisp, vibrant fruits and a full-bodied, deep malt and rich toffee-apple tones... best enjoyed neat over ice.”
