Isle of Arran Distillers is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland, based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran which lies off the West Coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre. The company was set up by Harold Currie, who was previously Managing Director of Chivas (Seagrams) and House of Campbell (Pernod Ricard). Only traditional methods are employed with wooden washbacks and copper stills designed to exacting specification. Non chill-filtered.

Just 6000 of these whiskies were produced for the global market, this is one of the last parcels available anywhere, an essential for your collection. Our recent tastings of Arran allow us to speculate that this will indeed be something quite special for the drinker too. If you happen to be looking for a distillery capable of producing consistently drinkable and affordable Scotch whiskies (something becoming increasingly rare) Arran should be near the top of your list.
