A stunning fusion of wine and whisky!

Tasting note: Brilliant polished copper with flashes of ruby red and a golden hue. A spectacular colour. Powerful aromas of cherry juice and strawberry cream melt seamlessly into the sweet, chocolaty malt while soft but distinct peat wafts about. Semi sweet, exceptionally concentrated palate entry opens with a juicy, ripe cherry burst followed by a chocolate strawberry note. Soft, drying peat kicks in leading into a subtle kippery end note. Terrific balance at cask strength issuing restrained heat and only a mild spirit tingle, the whisky finishes super clean, mint chocolate-like and utterly moorish followed by a long drying aftertaste of sweet smoke and grapes with a vanilla / chocolate fade. Eminently drinkable at cask strength, if this is not the most successful and complete wood finished single malt we’ve ever tasted, it certainly ranks as one of the very best. A must try. 54.4% Alc./Vol. Limited Stocks.
