2015 Brunello di Montalcino
Hype around recent vintages from Tuscany has been building for some time, and with more of the top wines now released from 2015 we’re seeing this hype is perhaps justified. While certainly a warm year likened to 1997, 2007, and 2009, a key difference with 2015 is the freshness and balance more commonly associated with cooler vintages. It’s also a homogenous year with consistent quality across the region, and one where the wines will be approachable early in their life. As seen with the scores and reviews below, the high points of the year are exceptional wines that lovers of Brunello will treasure having in their cellar for many years to come.
