Deep midnight black colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils whilst interplaying with some tobacco, dried herb, faint earthy black olive and spicy cedar notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits are carried across the mid weighted palate with ample flesh. Dark plum, dried herb, earthy tobacco and spicy cedar elements lend further nuance across the back half. Impressive concentration with polished yet structured tannins concluding long and generous.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

I've been really impressed with the latest tranche of releases from ****. Purely fruited with modest alcohols, graceful lines and a real effortless sense of drinking pleasure. The cabernet sauvignon ticks all the boxes, too, with its ripe blackberry, black cherry and dark plum fruits cut with hints of baking spices, chocolate bullets, dried herbs and gentle cedar tones. Superfine chalky tannins peek over the shoulder of the fruit, and there is some nice minerally drive to the acid line as the wine slowly retreats with a tide of cassis and spice. Drink by 2033.

Barossa Cabernet doesn't usually entice me into a deep dive but I'm ready to somersault into this **** release with pike. Damn delicious and easy to drink, it's insanely smooth and velvet like.
Joyous blackberries, blueberry paste, dark chocolate, licorice, and star anise have me sitting bolt upright. I'm hooked from the outset. Cedar, bay leaf and dried thyme slowly unfurl gradually showing their hand. A wine that is more black fruit-driven if anything, it's not a Cabernet with those avert capsicum and mint characters. Drying and dusty tannins present some chew with a scattering of powder the parting gift. Moreish. Smart stuff.
