Translucent, crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose has a distinct stewed plum aroma, followed by stalk, cherry and spice notes, displaying good varietal character. The palate flavours are relatively light, with cherry and spice flavours evident. Firm tannins. No power wave, with an aftertaste of stewed fruit and cherry.
