This unusual, exceptionally old release has been finished in barrels that previously contained Pierre Ferrand's 1973 Cognac. Bottled at natural strength, it was specially selected for the Australian and New Zealand markets, with only 150 bottles produced.

Tasting note: Beautiful colour - deep orange copper with ideal clarity. Lifted aroma conjures powerful scents of banana cake, caramel and cocoa; added chocolate emphasis in the later passes. Creamy textured and concentrated with the spices kept in check; unfolds with sweet vanilla, coconut and chocolate flavours, showing impressive balance; mocha and dried fruits enter at the finish as the cognac leaves its stamp.
