North Star Caol Ila 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Part of cask series 005, this single cask gem was distilled at Caol Ila in 2006 and matured in a refill Hogshead. Like the rest of the North Star collection, this was bottled at cask strength and non chill filtered. 276 bottles produced.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: An Oligarch’s humidor... A big dusty one. Taste: A peated sherbet lemon doubled dunted with a peated sour ploom. Finish: Reminds me of well-seasoned hardwood burning near a new carpet……all subjective of course. 54.6% Alc./Vol.
