Makers Mark Select Black Label Bourbon Whisky (750ml)

Note: Product has come from a private collection. Due to this as well as the age of the product there may be some minor scuffing/scratches/handling marks.

Additional note: There is a minor crack in the wax seal due to the age of the bottle. There is also a notable scuff on one side of the label.

A now discontinued and exceedingly rare Makers Mark bottling, initially only available from the Japanese market and bottled at a higher 47.5% ABV. A must have prize for any Bourbon fanatic or collector.

Other reviews... Nose: thick charred notes, deep, mildly waxy, hints of cordite; Taste: oily and immediately mouthfilling with a quite stupendous soft honey, grainy sweetness that balances almost to perfection with the toasty, liquorice-caramel, burnt sugar deeper tones. A pepperiness is on a wavelength almost too subtle to be heard.
