Tasting note: Nose: Massive fruit onslaught: apples and oranges and well structured sweetness. The grain lightens the proceedings. Palate: Big and boisterous and enormously sweet from the start. Rich maltiness, a slight smokiness and an almost metallic honey sheen. Finish: Drier with some cocoa. Quite gristy. Comment: Perhaps the most improved blend in the Cooley range. A massive assertiveness throughout. 40% Alc./Vol.
