James Bentley Whisky (700ml)

Based in Young, New South Wales, Blue Still has been a family owned and operated distillery since 1995. The whisky is matured in French oak from a mash of corn, rye and barley. The price is something of a surprise - easily the most affordable Aussie whisky on the market to date!

Tasting note: Very deep copper penny colour. Light to moderate aromatics with scents of hazelnuts, cocoa and choc-caramel confectionary. Light and breezy entry followed by a surge of vanilla wafer biscuit, plus Ovaltine and cocoa carried by a splash of cinnamon warmth in the aftertaste. A half bourbon / half grain cross-style that's uncomplicated easy drinking. 38% Alc./Vol.
