Glenrothes Three Decades Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Most Single Malt enthusiasts will be aware that in the last 15 years, Glenrothes has bottled vintages from the 1970s, the 1980s and the 1990s. The earliest vintage bottling was the 1971, and the latest the 1998 (a 2001 has subsequently being released, but it's not relevant to this bottling). The Glenrothes Three Decades celebrates all the past and present vintage releases by combining them in one bottle - thus "Three decades" includes mature Glenrothes from each. Previously exclusive to Travel Retail, we've finally managed to get our hands on some of this - reputedly a fantastic whisky.

Other reviews... Not without a minor blemish here and there but the overall magnitude of this allows you to forgive quite easily. The distant sulphur apart, a stunner. 90.5 points
