Glenrothes Select Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky Gift Pack (700ml)

A non vintage-specific vat from casks of different years. 'Select Reserve' typifies the distillery house character – ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and hints of spice. Includes two handsomely shaped tumblers to make an ideal gift for the whisky novice. 

Tasting note: Pale gold colour. Initial nosing reveals toasty cereals and vanilla wafer biscuit. More time in the glass yields faint apple and cocoa aromas. The palate is semi-sweet, spicy and offers good concentration of flavour; honey, cereal and vanilla are nicely inter meshed followed by a late toffee apple burst. A very subtle rubberiness is evident both on the nose and palate, but is kept in check by the whisky's sweetness. Finishes clean and dry with a honey / toast fade. 43% Alc./Vol.
