Tasting note: [tasted from a near empty bottle] The viscous appearance shows ideal clarity. Nosing detects lifted, no-nonsense aromas of lemon sorbet and light kumquat while avoiding being overly sweet. Svelte textured, medium bodied delivery is luscious and marmalade-like with subtle tangerine tartness at the finish. Aftertaste is light on the tongue, reasonably long, accenting lemon-meringue. Upping the acidity for added authenticity and balance would further improve this. 22% Alc./Vol.
