Jalisco, MEXICO
$999. 00
Bottle
$11988.00 Dozen
ABV: 40%
Also known as the “Edición Indígena-Mazahua” ( Mazahua Edition) in relation to the bottle's cultural references, this exceptionally hard-to-find Clase Azul marks a high point in our Tequila collection: A nine-year-old produced from traditionally roasted agaves, rested for 25 months in ex-bourbon barrels, and packaged in a hand made and hand painted Talavera style decanter with a 24-carat-gold charm on the neck. The decanter also includes unfired clay, representing the history of the people and their land. Each decanter is numbered and signed by both the master distiller and the Mazahuan artisan who decorated the piece. A true collector's item.

Notes from the bottler: The viscous body shows off a delicate, yet balanced mouth-feel. The nose is layered with aromas of Mexican vanilla, cinnamon, apples and almonds and surrounded by caramel aromas from the slow-cooked agave. Cooked agave flavors with touches of vanilla, caramel, and various woods through the finish. 40% Alc./Vol.
