Bruichladdich 12 Year Old Second Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Matured in bourbon casks and replaced by the 10 year old in 2011. Described as having "layers of green fruits, citrus fruits and vanilla cream - the perfect aperitif". Non chill filtered. No colouring added.

Other reviews... big barrage of fruit, crisp barley beautifully integrates with oak...long with the intense, chiselled flavours still slightly at odds, but calming down with some oils...The fruit on the finish is outstanding, though, and I don't think you or I would turn down a third glass. 46% Alc./Vol. 88 points - Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2012size>
