Tasting note: Pours like young PX Sherry with a deep raw umber heart and burnt sienna edges. Almost neutral aromatically with vague suggestions of dilute maple syrup, fruit mince pie and a balsamic-like prickle. After 10 minutes in the glass the aroma remains light at best accenting chico lolly / confectionary-like scents. Flat, uninspiring delivery, mildly spicy at mid palate. Liqourice bullet / chico lolly aftertaste. Ends meek, short and perplexing. Truly weird. Another Loch Dhu in the making? 43% Alc./Vol.
