Andrew Garrett wines are based in South Australia's McLaren Vale. Wine maker Phil Reschke sources fruit from a number of regions, including the McLaren Vale and Padthaway to produce a diverse range of premium wines. The Andrew Garrett philosophy of producing quality, individual wines has earned the winery a reputation for innovative and excellence in wine making. As one of Australia's largest producers of premium sparkling wine Andrew Garrett has access to a wide selection of fruit sources to ensure the N.V. Brut is true reflection of the house style. The fruit is whole bunch pressed to retain the delicate fruit characters of the variety. Traditional sparkling wine production techniques are used. Approximately 30% of reserve wines along with parcels of malo-lactic fermented base wine is included in the assemblage to add complexity.A base wine was produced using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes selected from a number of cool climate vineyard sites in South Eastern Australia. The aim is to give as much complexity to the final base wine as possible. The wine was matured on lees in the bottle for 12 months before disgorging. The bouquet exhibits delightful fruit aromas complexed by a fresh bread like yeast aroma. The palate is rich and soft with a dry finish. A perfect aperitif. 12% alcohol volume.
