Adelphi Fascadale Batch 6 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Fascadale lies on the north-west point of the rugged, and timeless, Ardnamurchan Peninsula, just a few miles from the location for Adelphi’s new distillery – The Ardnamurchan Distillery.

The sixth release is an out turn of 1496 bottles filled with whisky from the Highland distillery, Clynelish.

Tasting note: Quite pale straw/gold. Lots of ripe fruit here - almost candied with canteloupe and pear featured. Very expressive. More vanilla malt and confectionary after aeration. Middle weighted, satiny profile with purring spices following the opening fruity / malty burst. Perfect balance. A splash of peat in the finish? Fascadale never fails to impress.
