Sourced from a vineyard located on the outskirts of the Willunga township, this great value Tempranillo was aged for 14 months in new and seasoned French and American oak barrels.
Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Rising out of the glass are elevated scents of black cherries, liquorice and dark plum which intermingle with subtle vanillin cedar and spicy earth like notes. Generously weighted the palate is bestowed with rich dark to black cherry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which have an opulent feel. Vanillin cedar, earth and spice characters lie underneath. Ripe chewy tannins with a long aftertaste that shows plenty of flesh.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
