2019 Poonawatta The Eden Riesling

Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the rim. Intense lime juice and granny smith apple aromas jump out of the glass followed by lemon, steely notes, light chalky talc and mineral. Racy lime, lemon and green apple flavours are carried by a spine of steely acidity with chalky mineral characters in the background. Dry crunchy finish with plenty of tension on the long mouth watering aftertaste.
