2019 Parker Coonawarra Estate Kidman Block Shiraz

Sourced from 50 year old vines with maturation taking place in French oak (20% new) for a period 16 months. Pitch black in colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up a combination of ripe black plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas which are married to vanillin cedar, infusions of bay leaf and light pepper. Rich, lush blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits drive the medium to full bodied palate underscored by vanillin cedar, subtle black olive characters, infusions of bay leaf and pepper. Polished tannin structure with a long refined yet very generously laid out aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
