Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated peach, nectarine and dried honey scents are followed by some biscuity nougat, citrus and light bees wax notes. A great juxtaposition of texture and freshness the palate features vibrant white peach, nectarine and lemony dried honey flavours wrapped up in a nicely rounded mid palate over a back drop of subtle biscuit, green apple and light spicy nougat. Finishes dry with refreshing acidity and a medium to long aftertaste that sees traces of cashew beginning to emerge.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Comes closed with a DIAM cork, rather than the usual screwcap. I’m pretty sure Luke has good reason to do so, given his attention to detail.
Umami as ever, with a saline and nutty, almost sake-like character, but in with that, green apple, lemon zest, spice and a little trademark funk. Raw almonds, in texture as much as flavour, green apple crunch of acidity, chalky texture, a suggestion of ginger, and a long textured, dusty and citrus-laced finish of fine length. It’s a wine of unique personality and rare sophistication at its price point, and otherwise. Drink 2019-2025+
