Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis were both successful medical researchers before succumbing to their desire to create a vineyard and winery in Geelong. They planted vines on their own rootstocks, built a straw-bale winery and house, and farmed the land according to biodynamic beliefs.
A delightful Pinot that’s perfumed, fresh, long and very moreish.
Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Blooming from the glass are very perfumed violet like aromatics followed by ripe dark cherries, strawberries, fragrant fresh herbs, subtle forest floor and spice. Delicious flavours of ripe cherries and strawberries are supple in their feel yet also bright and fresh. Infusions of violets, fresh herbs, light forest floor and spicy cedar ensue. Light in body but powerful with velvety tannins, vibrant acidity and a delightfully long finish that’s totally moreish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
