2019 Duchessa Lia Barbera d'Asti

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry and chocolate bullets jump out of the glass followed by earthy vanillin cedar and spice notes. Dark cherry and dark chocolate flavours are underscored by bright acidity with some earthy vanilla and spice characters also present. Dusty tannins lead into a slightly dryish medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
