2019 Deep Woods Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak. Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinctive highlights of green running around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated fresh pear, nectarine and grapefruit scents meld into subtle dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint notes. Only just medium weight, the freshly styled palate serves up vibrant nectarine, pear and grapefruit flavours over infusions of gun flint, citrus and traces of roasted almonds. Finishes dry with a brisk feel and a long elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
