Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and ripe plum mix with red liquorice, light earthy incense notes and fresh herbs. Bright, delicious red fruits decorate the palate with liquorice, infusions of incense, light earth and spice also present. Fresh youthful finish, slightly inky in its feel with well integrated tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

No one got my ‘no fiddling about here’ comment on the last vintage, or just chose to ignore it. It’s like feeding strawberries to pigs sometimes, I can tell you.
Purple smelling and tasting, if you know what I mean. Has a sort of iron/ozone character over dark cherry and boysenberry, some black jelly bean and flowers, dusty sweet spice too. Excellent volume of fruit flavour, juicy and all sweet dark cherry, pnerolenty of suede-like tannin, balanced acidity, and a perfumed finish of very good length, a bit of ferrous tannin carting it along. Delightful. Pretty and robust at once. Drink 2021-2025+
