2019 Coombe Chardonnay

Matured in a combination of 20% new and 80% 1-2 year old French oak for 10 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinct highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated white peach and nectarine aromas mix with melon, biscuity oak, subtle lemon butter and spice. Mid weighted, fleshy peach and ripe nectarine fruits show ample intensity over a subtle dried honey, nougat and biscuity oak back drop. Good volume in the mouth finishing fresh with a long expansive aftertaste that sees a dash of spice emerge.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
