2019 Bass River 1835 Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a subtle tinge of black to the edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet, red to dark cherry and strawberry scents stream from the glass followed by some anise, forest floor and light spicy cedar notes. Delicious red to dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits are underpinned by fresh acidity with subtle forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar elements also evident. Polished tannins with a long bright savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
