From the 50 year old Braemore vineyard planted in 1969. Brilliant water like core with a distinctive ring of green around the outskirts. Aromas of lime and granny smith apple meld into wet slate, fresh herb and flinty mineral notes. Crunchy green apple and lime flavours are very tense and linear in their feel with an underbelly of citrus, infusions of fresh herbs and slatey mineral characters. Dry finish with racy acidity and a light zesty aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 10.7%

Other Reviews….
The forcefield of the range. The most reticent and yet paradoxically, as with many fine wines, the longest driver of flavour, intensity and ageability. Lemongrass, lanolin and grapefruit zest. Pulpy. Fleshy. Strident length. Athletic. Crunchy and laden with '19-esque slatiness. Drink by 2029.
